Dental Coverage
Dental insurance can cover a range of procedures, including:
Preventive care: Annual check-ups, cleanings, and X-rays.
Basic procedures: Gum disease treatments, extractions, fillings, and root canals.
Major procedures: Crowns, bridges, inlays, implants and dentures.
Vision Coverage
Vision care insurance will often cover routine eye health expenses such as eye exams, contact lens fittings, contact lenses, and eyeglass lenses and frames.
The amount of dental coverage you need depends on your current and future dental needs, your budget, and whether you have a preferred dentist.
Depending on the level of care there may be waiting periods. Typically Preventative services are covered immediately. However, depending on the plan, Basic and Major procedures may have waiting periods or scaling coverage depending on how long you have been enrolled in the plan.
